Suggested itinerary
1. Bishop Museum
About 8.27 kilometres, 20 minutes drive
Located west of Waikiki Beach near the barrier of the Likelike Highway, it is Honolulu's most historic and most significant museum, housing millions of artefacts and texts about Hawaii and other Polynesian cultures. Information and photos
2. USS Arizona Memorial
About 13.7 kilometres, 20 minutes drive
The memorial is located directly above the wreckage of the USS Arizona in Pearl Harbor, central Oahu. We can watch a documentary about the Pearl Harbor attack at the visitor centre and visit the memorial. We can also see four other historical attractions: the USS Missouri Memorial, the USS Boffin Submarine Museum and Park, the USS Oklahoma Memorial, and the Pacific Aviation Museum.
3. Waikele Premium Outlets Shopping Center
About 17.1 kilometres, 19 minutes drive.
When I came to Hawaii, I had to arrange a shopping trip. It's so convenient to drive there. There are more than 50 designer and brand stores in the vast shopping mall, so you are confident in being able to buy what you like. There are also many gourmet restaurants in the centre.
4. Dole Pineapple Park
About 20.3 kilometres, 20 minutes drive.
Pineapple is the fruit that best represents Hawaii. Dole Plantation is located on the island of Oahu. There are a variety of pineapple-related products here. There is also a pineapple garden maze and a guided train walking through the park. It is European One of the most popular tourist attractions in Hudao.
5. Haleiwa Beach
About 12.6 kilometers, 15 minutes drive.
Also known as Turtle Beach, it is a must-see when travelling by car on the North Shore. It is also a top spot for surfers. The adjacent park and picnic tables also make it the perfect place for a barbecue. Be sure to try the local favourite "shaved ice" from the nearby town of Haleiwa.
6. Luau Cultural Village
It is about 42.1 kilometres, 42 minutes drive.
Every trip to Hawaii is complete with experiencing the traditional Hawaiian luau. The charming beach and beautiful sunset serve as the stage to enjoy Polynesian culture and customs: Petal rain performances, traditional fishing, participation in traditional handicrafts and various games. You can take it if you want the authentic food.
